The majority of my photoshoots happen before sunset. It's the perfect time of day to capture some great light and have some fun before the night begins. We flipped the script on this one though and shot at sunrise in Laguna Canyon. It was one of the first crisp fall mornings with clear skies and just the perfect vibe to celebrate Lauren & Matt's engagement. We sipped our hot coffee and hiked in to Laguna Canyon and shot tons of photos as the sun rose over the canyon. Such an incredible way to start the day. Definitely will be trying to shoot some more mornings this next year. I'm so excited for these two. Their wedding is next year in Julian at Sacred Mountain. The venue looks incredible. I can't wait.
I'm going to use this space as a shoutout to future couples. If you're on the fence on whether to do engagement photos or not, DO IT! They are so much fun, they help you get comfortable in front of the camera, they allow us to get to know each other more, and you'll have awesome photos in something besides your wedding dress and suit. Selfishly, they are my favorite to shoot since there's no time pressure and always beautiful locations! Hit me up if you're looking for a photog here.
